We are advised that there has been no increase in allotments rents since year 2017/18 as detailed below but please check this with the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Allotment fees can be found on their website here
Allotment charges for 2017/18 are to remain broadly the same as in the previous two years although it appears that the concessionary rate has gone up by £2 a rod per year which would mean an additional £10 per annum for the 'average' 5 rod plot:
£20 per rod for Greenwich borough residents, out of borough residents pay £40 per rod, and over 65's and other concesions the rent reduces to £12 per rod.

When you get sent your invoice by Greenwich council you can elect to pay the full amount by cheque or via the online payment system or you can choose to pay annually or quarterly by direct debit
The definition of a rod as used by Greenwich Council to calculate the size of an allotment is actually a square rod that is equal to 30.25 square yards or 25.29 square metres.
